In this post, I want to share a stunning scenic route that offers amazing views of Frankfurt, Eppstein, and the Taunus region.
It’s the perfect choice for a nice after-work activity and is especially enjoyable on summer evenings when the light is just right.
The route I’ll describe below is easiest if you drive to the starting point, where you’ll find a small parking lot available.
If you prefer, you can also begin the hike from Eppstein train station. Just keep in mind that this option comes with a much steeper climb and will add a bit of extra distance to your journey.
For those who have some time to spare after the hike and want to take in even more breathtaking views, I’d highly recommend a quick detour to the new Hardtberg Tower or the Dettweiler Temple. Both are absolutely worth it!
